3D gridded fields:
- Temperature (0-700m)
- Salinity (0-700m)
Combination between satellite and in situ data. This is a 2 steps process: (1) satellite data (SLA + SST) are projected on the vertical via a multiple regression method and via covariances deduced from historical observations. This step gives synthetical fields, (2) combination between these fields with T/S in situ profiles via an optimal interpolation method. This gives Armor 3D combined fields (Cf. Larnicol et al., 2006, Guinehut and Larnicol, 2003).
